Abstract: The purpose of this presentation is to provide ideas to behavior analysts on how to infuse precision teaching within their current ABA service delivery model. Dr. Miller will discuss how she incorporates aspects of precision teaching in a way that is realistic and feasible and doesn't require completely overhauling current systems. The presentation will review key areas that should be addressed with all clients who receive behavior analytic interventions from the world of precision teaching in order to improve outcomes and increase effective service delivery. Specific troubleshooting procedures relating to frequency building will also be discussed.

Megan Miller, PhD, BCBA graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from John Carroll University in 2004. She obtained her M.S. in Psychology with a Specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida State University-Panama City Campus in 2007. She earned her PhD in Special Education and Behavior Analysis at The Ohio State University in 2015. Her early training in behavior analysis occurred at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Autism as a Volunteer/intern in 2003. Since that time, she has provided services to over 100 children diagnosed with autism and other disabilities primarily in home settings but also in other environments such as school.
Dr. Miller is committed to providing effective evidence based practice to children with autism and developmental disabilities. She recognizes that the most effective intervention is provided when the behavior analyst is knowledgable regarding all aspects of intervention possibilities and can combine those to fit each child's unique needs. She is also interested in Precision Teaching, staff training, and school consultation.
