Purpose of Chartlytics
A company focused on helping all people attain accelerated behavior change and realize their full learning potential.
Definition of Chartlytics
A system for precisely pinpointing and recording behavior, using a Standard Celeration Chart for making decisions, and using repeated problem solving to help learners experience effective and efficient learning outcomes..
What Chartlytics does
A web application offering various components necessary for successfully pinpointing, recording, and displaying behavior while also problem solving effective solutions. In addition to the structured process for managing, monitoring, analyzing, and communicating behavior change, Chartlytics also offers content in the form of practice materials and programs designed to help learners achieve fluency in a variety of critical domains (e.g., academics, language, social skills, music).
Chartlytics runs on any computer and users access it from the web. Additionally, Chartlytics has been optimized for tablets facilitating mobile access.
How Chartlytics works
1. The first step of the Chartlytics process involves creating a precise measure for behavior, called a pinpoint. Pinpoints allow an organization or individual to develop a catalog of behaviors selected for change. Users can group pinpoints into categories thus enhancing organizational efficiency.
2. The second step involves recording behavior with a standard, absolute, and universal measure - frequency. Chartlytics allows users to also record duration, latency, or count only of a pinpoint. Chartlytics has data recording devices and applications in development which will ease the burden of using paper and pencil recording systems.
3. After pinpointing and recording important behavioral targets, Chartlytics leverages the most powerful display for times series behavior, the Standard Celeration Chart or SCC. Ratio charts (like the SCC) provide different information than linear charts (like the graphs everyone else uses). Also, like an electrocardiogram employed by medical professionals Standard Celeration Chart users experience true consistency and uniformity when viewing data. Therefore, Chart readers have access to standard visual patterns of behavior leading to enhanced quality of decision making. With increased effectiveness of data decision making, the efficiency and economy of change outcomes increase.
4. The fourth steps used in Chartlytics, repeated problem solving, means carefully evaluating different interventions. If an intervention or program does not work, the chart user can make a note in the program and try something different. The Standard Celeration Chart and the performer worksheet show all of the interventions attempted and how well they worked. The record of interventions and notes display an elaborate account of attempts to resolve a problem.
Why Chartlytics makes life better
Progress: The four steps of Chartlytics standardize a difficult process: pinpointing and recording behavior, discerning progress or the lack thereof, and evaluating change interventions. The orderly process established by Chartlytics elevates all users to a highly competent level of data management and discovery.
Communication: Different people want to see a learner’s progress. People include the learner him or herself, parents, teachers, and supervisors. Chartlytics grants different levels of access to people keeping all team members appraised of present levels of progress and future directions.
Content: An extensive body of practice materials vetted through a scientific analysis of effective practice construction guidelines means users have access to a wide array of materials that promote robust change. All users can share their materials or keep their local curricula in an organized structure within Chartlytics.
